Gillette Circuit Judge William S. Edwards retiring

GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) – Circuit Court Judge William S. Edwards of

Gillette plans to retire on June 30.

     The 66-year-old judge has served 19 years on the bench and has

been practicing law in Wyoming for 30 years.

     Qualified candidates interested in serving as judge may submit

expressions of interest through April 8 to the Judicial Nominating

Commission. Gov. Dave Freudenthal will appoint Edwards’ replacement

from a list of three names the commission will submit to him.
