Bryant Section road improvements begin north of Riverton

(RIVERTON)   An $11.91 million highway improvement project to widen 5.74 miles of U.S. 26/Wyoming 789 to a five-lane highway is scheduled to begin next week north of Riverton, according to Robert Scheidemantel, Wyoming Department of Transportation resident engineer in Riverton.


Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7, clearing of trees and grubbing is scheduled to begin along both sides of the highway improvement project. Some fencing work is already under way.
